Cruden & Co. in 1995. Prior to that, she was employed by another local CPA firm and also practiced on her own. Denise’s responsibilities with the firm include preparation and review of business and personal tax returns, tax planning and tax research, preparation and supervision of audit, review and compilation engagements. Denise has a exposure to accounting and reporting issues in many industries including automotive, broadcasting, real estate, professional practices, not-for-profit and governmental audit and pension plans. Denise assists in performing final technical review on financial statements prepared by the firm. This step insures the firm’s adherence to professional standards which are mandated and administrated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
